Hindustan College of Engineering, established in the year 1985, has been conferred the "University Status" by UGC, Government of India Under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 with the name "HINDUSTAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & SCIENCE" from the academic year 2008 - 09. The Vision of HITS is "TO MAKE EVERY MAN A SUCCESS AND NO MAN A FAILURE".

Hindustan University provides an environment that fosters not only the intellectual but also the overall personality development to its students. Personality Development Workshops are organized in the University for all enrolled students with a view to equip them with the necessary soft skills required to beat the stringent selection process and emerge successfully in today's competitive world. The students are exposed to intensive training for acquiring Communication, Motivation and Leadership Skills. They gain essential inputs in goal setting and team building. They also undergo Case Study Analysis, Extempore, Group Discussion and Personal Interview Session. More than nine hundred students of pre-final and final year undergraduate and postgraduate programs are benefited from these workshops every year. The University considers training and placement as its key duties to every student who enrolls with the University.

The Placement Office of the University provides equal opportunity to all enrolled students to:
Attend campus interviews conducted for leading companies from India and Abroad
Do In-Plant Training
Prepare the students to beat Aptitude Test, Case Analysis, Group Discussions and Personal Interviews.

Placement & Training
OBJECTIVE : To mould the students to meet the corporate expectation and place them in reputed companies based on the expected Job profiles of each student.

PLACEMENT ACTIVITIES :

  • We have full-fledged Placement cell, which monitors the employment opportunities and arrange campus interviews for the final year students.
  • Our Campus recruitment program starts by the beginning of the Pre-Final semester.
  • The On Campus recruitment program keeps continuing till the end of their final semester.
  • And after that we will be helping our students by arranging Off-Campus Interviews also.
  • We do not encourage the students, those who are placed through campus selection in a company to attend the further campus interviews.
  • The students those who have the plan to proceed for Higher Study will not be allowed to appear for the Campus Recruitments.
  • Our management is having a strong policy to not to encourage the companies doing Education & Training activities to attract the students in the name of placement orders.
